Spent a restful few hours trying to capture the little blue tits that had started to nest in my bird box. A lovely scene to watch unfold, yet difficult from a photography point of view to nail some sharp images. These were the best of a largely bad bunch. I had variable light on the day to work with and wanted faster shutters to freeze any opportunity or movement. I worked with my d7200 mounted on a tripod, sigma 150-600mm and in high speed continuous shutter. I believe I used AF-C and matrix metering. I am continuing to experiment with focus point and metering settings.
